House of Representatives

Mr Tim Wilson MP:

In my three-year walkabout from this place, between 2022 and 2025, there were people who should have been acknowledged for their life and service to our community that were not properly acknowledged, and today I'd like to do so, most tragically, perhaps, recently, was the sad loss of Brendan Rowswell, in his early 40s. He was father to George William and Henry David. He was, of course, also the twin brother of Brad Rowswell, the state member for Sandringham and son to Josephine and Lesie, and he also more recently got engaged to Georgia Nicholls. He's gone too soon, in only his 40th year. Of course, it is very sad to see somebody die so young, but he was always a good friend to me and to many others in the local community.

We pay respect to his life and service, just as we do for everybody whom I've mentioned today. May they rest in peace. May their memory be a blessing and forever we'll be thankful for their service and gifts to our community and to their families.
