The Australian flag is a sacred symbol of our nation. I am grateful to be able to honour this symbol - and other symbols of our nation - by presenting the Australian flag, the Aboriginal flag and the Torres Strait Islander Flag to local community groups.
Flags
The Australian flag is a story of who we are, where we've come from and the values we share. It's also a flag that was selected by competition from public submissions, and one of the five successful entrants was local and came from Beaumaris.
The Goldstein Electorate Office has an allocation of flags available to eligible community groups, schools, not-for-profit organisations, places of worship and local students representing Australia overseas. Flags are also available for funeral services for deceased veterans. Unfortunately, our allocation is not sufficient to provide flags to individuals.
Flags are presented formally, and I'm always keen to take the opportunity to share the history and significance of our national symbols with recipients. If your organisation would like to receive a flag, please contact the Goldstein electorate office well in advance at [email protected] to arrange availability and schedule a time for the presentation of the flag at your event.
Official Portraits
The Goldstein Electorate Office can supply official Australian portraits of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen in their capacity as the Monarchs of Australia.
If you wish to download and print your own copy of the official portraits, you can download high-resolution copies from the PM&C website.
