House of Representatives
Mr Tim Wilson:
My question is to the Treasurer. Treasury has confirmed your government has spent over $100 billion more than it has saved, fuelling inflation and driving up interest rates. Next week, after the Prime Minister has jetted off to the Caribbean, the RBA is expected to raise interest rates for the 17th time under Labor to the highest levels since 2008. Will the Treasurer finally take responsibility and admit his out-of-control spending is forcing Australian families to pay more for everything?
