Mr Tim Wilson:
You may recall last year that Brighton Grammar School won the world STEM racing competition. I know it was a big moment in our nation's history. Congratulations to Team Lunar, the 'lunartics'—l-u-n-a-r-t-i-c-s—that went on to take the world prize. This year Ad Astra from Brighton Grammar School is also reaching for the stars. As they head off to go to the world competitions, we congratulate the team manager, Gianlucca Stavros; the engineering director, Bill Wang; the CAM engineer, Reggie Cooke; the enterprise director, Marco Zu; the communications director, Jack Tan; and the CAD engineer, Thomas Zuang. They have done an enormous amount of work to get their team to this point. The world Stem Racing competition is one that tests the entrepreneurial, scientific and engineering minds of the next generation, putting them towards a racing competition where they test their speed and the limits of human ingenuity. Last year, as I said, Brighton Grammar went on to win a world competition, and we wish that they may be able to do it again, because everybody loves back-to-back winners—particularly these young men who are doing so much to build a better scientific future and improve the lives of everyone. Congratulations.
