Team Goldstein

Claire – Office Manager

Claire is a born and bred country girl hailing from northern NSW and lives with the mantra “it takes a village” as a proud mum to 3 young adults. Claire has an ATCL and LTCL in Speech & Drama from Trinity College London, Bachelor of Arts Media & Comms and a Masters in Social Investment and Philanthropy. She has worked in both State and Federal politics. Collingwood and Manchester United are her colours!


Daniel – Electorate Officer – Media, Communications, and Campaigns

Daniel, originally from Adelaide and now a very proud Victorian, obtained a Bachelor of Business (Economics) from RMIT. He has worked in the private sector in a range of diverse roles with a publisher, financial services firm and more recently, in his own consultancy firm. On the weekend you’ll probably find Daniel busy with his wife and three kids running around the park and supporting Collingwood.


Penny – Electorate Officer – Constituent Liaison Officer

Penny, originally from Singapore and has lived in Melbourne since 1986.  She has more than 30 years’ experience as a senior Executive Assistant in both domestic and international organisations.  Penny lives locally in the electorate spending her time appreciating its parks and gardens, and volunteering at the NGV.


Susan – Electorate Officer – Community Engagement / Electorate Events

Susan studied arts and journalism and has had a wide ranging career including working for a number of Federal MPs. Contact Susan for any matters relating to community organisations in Goldstein and she’ll be happy to help.


Sandra – Electorate Officer – Senior Case Officer

Sandra was born in the Goldstein Electorate and attended McKinnon Primary and McKinnon Secondary College. Sandra studied Art and holds a Diploma of Business (Dip Bus) in Frontline Management. Sandra lived in Queensland for many years where she worked for Alzheimer’s Australia Qld, before taking a position as an Electorate Officer with a Federal Member of Parliament on the Gold Coast. Since returning to Melbourne, Sandra has worked for a number of Parliamentarians finding the position both challenging and rewarding, especially in the areas of Immigration, Centrelink and Veterans’ Affairs. Sandra enjoys travelling, good food, good wine and follows the black and white “Collingwood” football team.


Matthew – Electorate Officer – Part Time

Matthew is a Journalism student at Deakin University. He lives locally in the electorate and spends his spare time reading and writing, spectating and participating in sport (mainly Cricket and Football), and appreciates the performing arts. Matthew is also a proud supporter of the Melbourne Football Club.


Cale – Electorate Officer – Research

Cale read Biomedicine (Honours) at the University of Melbourne with breadth study in history and politics. Catch him sporting cuffed jeans and driving his 1976 Datsun 180B on the weekends. He displays his Western Bulldogs colours proudly in the office after their historic premiership this year!


Callum – Electorate Officer – Part Time

Callum is studying a Bachelor of Laws (Honours)/Bachelor of Commerce at Monash University. He has grown up in Goldstein, and been part of the local community for his entire life. When he isn’t working or studying, Callum can be spotted debating, reading and searching for the best flat white in the country.


Steve – Research Officer – Part time

Steve completed a Bachelor of Communication (Media) at RMIT University and is currently studying at the University of Melbourne to attain a Masters of Public Policy and Management. Steve is an avid reader, member of the Carlton Football Club and has a keen interest in democracy, public policy and political science.
