2025 Christmas Giving Appeal: Our community cares

At Christmas time, our thoughts are with those in need, as well as those we love.

Once again, we have partnered with our local support service for residents in need, BayCISS, for the annual Goldstein Christmas Giving Appeal.

Each year BayCISS supports thousands of locals by providing wraparound services and support, including emergency relief such as food parcels, pharmacy vouchers and travel passes.

At Christmas time, BayCISS distribute food hampers and gifts to local people in need. To do this, they rely on community donations.

I’ll be donating, and we hope you will support the work of BayCISS by making a cash donation or by gifting non-perishable donations. Donations could include cans of protein (ham, tuna), spreads (vegemite, peanut butter etc.) and instant coffee, as well as other essentials such as new clothing, blankets or school supplies, to help BayCISS help others in our community. Donations of non-perishable food or other gifts can be brought to the Goldstein electorate office, located at: 677 Nepean Highway, (corner of Centre Rd) Brighton East until 5pm on Friday 5 December 2025 so they can be presented to BayCISS for distribution before Christmas Day.
